Jimmy Egan's Boxing Academy Show Promo

This video is something I whipped up for my dad yesterday. It roughly took me six hours to complete. I think it can do with some more tweaking, but my dad wanted this out into the public a.s.a.p, as the date for the event is drawing nearer.

Show Promo Saturday 2nd Feb 2013 from Catherine Egan on Vimeo.

I made it because in our area, some people have been tearing down the posters my dad and uncle stuck up.
They've been concerned about it and wondered how else they could promote the gym's events without there being issues. So I thought I'd have a go at this. This post will in-turn hopefully promote the cause.

The clip is a bit of an experiment really. We're hoping it'll draw in more people to the show and make them want to return to future events. At least this way, word will get round one way or another, be it posters or viral.
I'm also interested to see what the feedback of people will be over this. It's gotten a few likes and shares on facebook, but no critical or connective comments yet.

The only issues I've had promoting this in terms of video is the copy-right issues of the song choice: 'Standing in the Hall of Fame' by The Script.
I should have thought carefully about this, but I did finish it at 3:30 am in the morning. So for the day, my analytical skills were not as sharp as they usually are. The issue didn't occur to me until Facebook told me off for it, so I had to take it off there and YouTube.
Thankfully, I've replaced the track with another made by my cousin's' band 'Coldside'. I've applied the changes to the Facebook and YouTube clips, but the Vimeo clip above has the original track. I've credited The Script on it though in both the piece and in the information that follows it. It also doesn't feature the entire song, so I'm hoping should anyone who overviews copy-right issues and has seen this will be more lenient in their decision towards this. But if I'm told it must go, I will remove it.

[This is the same video but with the replaced track, 'Sink So Low' by Manchester's 'Coldside'.]

That's something new I've learned. Be careful what content you re-use in your own work.
